Fulcrum Long Range Patrol Drone

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The Fulcrum Long Range Drone (FLRD) is an affordable, silent, battery driven, fixed wing, twin engined drone with a range of 200km on one charge.  The drone is manufactured of polystyrene and covered with a durable layer of laminate which makes it a very lightweight and strong item.

It is launched by hand and in recovery can land on any hard or soft surface within 10m. It can also be flown into a shrub of tree for recovery and it will not damage.

The FLRD can carry a camera fitted on a gimbal which has the ability of thermal/night-vision/day-light imaging by remote change of mode. The camera provides real-time image as long as signal allows.

It can be programmed to fly a specific route and if a closer investigation is required at any stage it can loiter or circle around the chosen area by manual control and there after continue of the pre-programmed route.

The FLRD is easy to handle and easy to maintain and has a vast range of applications.
